Article Favorites and Unique Gift Ideas

I read through Amanda’s briefcase blog and I’m wondering if I’m invited to the firepit gathering . . .
bizMe.biz is a mother-daughter team and in addition to Amanda, there are two other daughters too. One of my favorite articles is Birth Order and Career Choice—you’ll have to check it out and read whether your career was already predestined for you according to sibling sequence or if you’re a renegade bizgal! It’s fun, it’s enlightening and it’s so perfect for right now—especially if you are having second thoughts about how you spend your daily 9-to-5!
Our stylecoach and fitbiz sections are full of wonderful articles that detail how to eat healthy, look healthy, and live “posh” as we look for the light at the end of this dark economic tunnel.
My youngest daughter and I love to just hang out on Saturday mornings—maybe you and your mom are that way too. We went to a fine art and craft sale to support a local school and loved the artistic talent that was showcased. If you’re looking for a different spin to your greeting cards, then visit artist Staci Schemm’s stash at Lulu’s Petals. Staci’s passion for combining vintage with modern flair is undeniable. You’ll chuckle, you’ll know instantly which diva to shop for, and you’ll load up your shopping cart!
And then there’s neatoboutique. If you’ve become a guitar hero then you’ll absolutely love this guy’s guitar pick creations. The designs are the spectrum from punk to 80’s goth to romance and flowers. Interesting, creative, and totally different!
One more random thought about crafting . . . Martha Stewart had a wonderful idea for a photo display project. This summer I’m creating Martha’s Accordian Gallery—collect your favorite photographs, mount on sturdy art boards and then link together with small hinges—a photo accordian!! It’s way cool, you’ll see.
Enjoy what you do, that’s the bottom line. Make every day count and look for your passion with a purpose!
